Artisans de Genève called this one the Rusty Daytona, and the name does the work. A 116520 donor watch, disassembled, aged — artificially patinated across the movement, the case, the dial — until it tells a story of use that it may never actually have had. Calibre 4130 inside. Hand-finished, hand-engraved. The result is a watch that looks like it's been everywhere and done everything, which may be the most honest form of fiction available in horology. Full box and papers.
