Hermès H08 - Bleu Saint-Cyr

Hermès didn't approach the H08 from the direction of watchmaking tradition. They approached it from the direction of design — which is what you'd expect from a house that has been thinking about materials, proportion, and the relationship between object and hand for nearly two centuries. The result is a 39mm titanium case with a composite resin bezel, a horizontal-stripe dial, and calibre H1912 inside. 50-hour power reserve. Water-resistant to 50 metres. The H08 doesn't compete with Swiss tool watches. It occupies different ground entirely. Full box and papers.
